Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between speech and language?
Speech is how we say words- the sounds we make, how clear they are, and how our voice sounds. Language is the message- the words we use, how we put them together, and how we communicate our thoughts and feelings.

Yes, we do accept evaluations and treatment plans from other providers as long as the report was completed within the last 6-months.
Do you accept insurance? What is your financial policy?
At this time, we do not accept insurance. We are currently private pay only and accept payments via cash, personal check or credit card. When requested by clients, we can provide superbills for you to submit to your insurance. All payments must be up to date before future sessions can be completed.
what is your ATTENDANCE/cancellation policy?
“Non-emergency” cancellations require 24 hour notice. There will be one written warning for late-cancellation and after that, per the policy there will be a $40 charge to your account that must be paid before any future sessions. “Emergency” cancellations are accepted only for illness, illness of a family member, or death in the family. After three emergency cancellations, a $40 charge will be applied for all subsequent emergency cancellations within a calendar year. Must maintain at least an 80% attendance rate as measured within a given 3-month period or you are at risk losing your appointment time slot.
